Although the ancient ruins of the Salado people, known as Besh-Ba-Gowah Archaeological Park and Museum, are available to visit year-round, each December they have an annual celebration called the Festival of Lights. This festival lights the ruin with over 2000 luminaries, provides cultural entertainment and local cuisine. This event welcomes visitors from all over to enjoy a free evening at the park. Due to limited parking, visitors are encouraged to park at the Historic Train Depot (230 S. Broad St. Globe, AZ 85501) and use the free shuttle which runs every 15-20 minutes. Join Besh-Ba-Gowah for a night of holiday celebration!
