SAVE THE DATE: ARIZONA FALL FEST RETURNS FOR 15TH YEAR
Nothing celebrates Arizona like the Arizona Fall Fest

Phoenix, AZ (September 3, 2019) - Local First Arizona proudly presents the 15th Annual Arizona Fall Fest, the biggest community celebration for all-things local. The Arizona Fall Fest is free to attend for all ages and is hosted on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Margaret T. Hance Park, located in Phoenix, Arizona.

At its launch, the Arizona Fall Fest, (then known as the Certified Local Fall Festival), boasted only 27 vendors. Now in its 15th year, the event has become the largest festival at Margaret T. Hance Park with 200 local vendors and 30,000 attendees.

Attendees can indulge in their local-ness and experience something new with the following areas:

  • Over 40 food trucks and restaurants sampling local food;

  • Kid Zone with family-friendly games, crafts, and activities;

  • Sports Zone featuring Arizona’s professional sports teams;

  • Dog-friendly area to bring leashed canines;

  • Three stages featuring live local entertainment and cultural performances;

  • A free swag bag filled with local gifts and items given to the first 500 families;

  • An all-Arizona Hensley Beverage Craft Beer and Wine Garden.

“The Arizona Fall Fest began as a way to bring the best local places together and create community pride for our state,” says Thomas Barr, Executive Director of Local First Arizona, “We want people to find their favorite local businesses, discover new local businesses, and be a part of this celebration of all things Arizona. When our local businesses are supported, our communities prosper.”

To commend the 15th anniversary, Local First Arizona is releasing a weekly podcast featuring a mix of six original and new vendors at the festival. Hear stories from local businesses Practical Art, Duck and Decanter, Goodfellas Merch, Hummus Express, Uncle Blues Gourmet Beverages, and Phoenix Coqui Food Truck each week starting September 23rd. “This is an event that is all about discovery, celebration, and community,” says Kimber Lanning, Founder of Local First Arizona, “Seeing families that have grown up with us and this festival is incredible and we look forward to celebrating another 15 years.”

The Arizona Fall Festival is possible through the support of SRP, GoDaddy, and Hownd. This event is free to attend for all ages. More details can be found at http://localfirstaz.com/fall-festival/. The official event hashtag is #AZFallFest.
