Community Dinner Features Special Guest: Kim Jordan, Co-founder at New Belgium Brewing
January 18th, 2019 (Phoenix, Arizona) — An exclusive Community Dinner is set to feature special guest Kim Jordan, Co-founder of New Belgium Brewing, on Tuesday, Jan 30 at the historic Wurth House.
“We are thrilled to be hosting an event bringing important aspects of Phoenix’s culture together and collaborating with strong, community-centered businesses,” says Thomas Barr, Executive Director at Local First Arizona, “This is an opportunity to bring the community together for a fun and educational night. It won’t be an event to miss.”
The dinner, hosted by True North and Local First Arizona, is a unique collaboration between Conceptually Social and New Belgium Brewing featuring a full-course culinary experience paired with a selection of the brewery’s beers.
Over the last two years, Conceptually Social has received a warm welcome from the Phoenix food scene for their popular concepts like Be+Coffee, The Dressing Room, and their newest hit restaurant known as The Larry.
Conceptually Social is curating the event menu, which will showcase dishes and ingredients that both highlight Arizona’s cuisine and compliment each select beverage pairing.
During the dinner, mingling guests will hear Kim Jordan’s story of growing New Belgium Brewing from out of her basement into an innovative enterprise, and then intentionally centering her company’s mission to be the nexus for profit and community.
Jordan will be in town to join a plethora of presenters as the keynote speaker at the Arizona Good Business Summit, taking place the following day at the Phoenix Convention Center.
Presented by Local First Arizona, the Arizona Good Business Summit is the premiere event featuring national and local leaders sharing experiences and strategies for solutions to bolster business and expand the bottom line.
The summit agenda includes a full day of keynote speakers and workshop sessions ranging from creating results-oriented company culture to developing a deeper impact between for profit and nonprofit partners to entrepreneurs disrupting broken systems and using their business model as a force for good.
Tickets are on sale now for both the Community Dinner with Kim Jordan (1/29) and the Arizona Good Business Summit (1/30).
