Holiday Specials on the "Shop Local First Showcase"
The Holidays are in full swing and the Shop Local First Showcase is back with a festive special: featuring some of the best events, offers, and specials around town.
On this season's episode, Lauren Haggerty, our Northern Arizona Membership Coordinator, was joined by three Local First Arizona members who showcased great gifts, events, and specials for the holiday season.
Elena with the Old Town Center for the Arts got us excited for their upcoming winter performances, Mike with Verde Valley Olive Oil Traders showed us some of the shop's unique holiday gifts, and Sherrie with the Old Town Mug Company brought samples of the hand-crafted pieces you can find at her Holiday Bazzar. We also spoke about the Verde Valley Holiday Shopping Passport and explained how you can be rewarded for shopping at our independent retail businesses this season.

SHOP LOCAL FIRST SHOWCASE
Yavapai Broadcasting's Verde Valley TV launched a television series dedicated to locally-owned businesses in the Verde Valley. In partnership with Local First Arizona, the Shop Local First Showcase is a quarterly program that spotlights shopping opportunities, special promotions, events, or celebrations hosted by area local businesses. It is an exciting way to spread the "shop local" message throughout the region and to promote the locally-owned, independent businesses that we all love and which contribute to a vibrant, diverse community.
