NAZ January Mixer Recap
We kicked off the new year at Flagstaff's Pin-Ups Salon for northern Arizona's January Business Coalition Mixer. Owners Jesse Hornbeck and Risha Meiners welcomed the LFA Coalition members into their beautifully-retro salon, popping some champagne to accompany the dangerously-delicious carrot cake cake pops provided by Root Public House.
Pin-Ups Salon is a locally-owned, full-service salon and one of Flagstaff's best kept secrets. Serving the Flagstaff community since 2014, Jesse and Risha are certified color, hair extension, and dreadlock specialists with exceptional customer service. When I arrived to help set up, their chairs were filled with loyal customers touching-up their trendy styles.
Sustaining Member Daniel Hochstein with InTown TV joined us to announce the expansion of his digital information network to Flagstaff. We were excited to connect with HomCo Lumber and Hardware managers Todd Callan and Dan Groth and thank them for all their hard work in the Flagstaff community. Flagstaff Councilmember and owner of Odegaard's Sweing Center Charlie Odegaard surprised us with a visit. DeAnnethea Begay and Alwena Selma of Moenkopi Legacy Inn & Suites graciously traveled all the way from Tuba City to share the exciting regional tours and events being hosted in their village.
Next month's mixer

Local First Arizona networking mixers are a great way to meet fellow members and local business owners, and to connect with LFA staff. The agenda includes networking, a brief presentation on Local First AZ including news, events and updates on the organization and the local movement throughout Arizona.
