Cyclovia Tucson | Tucson, AZ | April 8th, 10am - 3pm
Cyc˙lo˙via - A Spanish word signifying the temporary closure of a network of streets to cars so that they become “open” to  people. During Cyclovia anyone can bike, walk, skate and participate in fun, free activities. Take your whole family out for this great opportunity to explore and experience Tucson’s roads without the presence of cars. -MORE

Redington Pass Cleanup | Tucson, AZ | April 21st, 9am - 12pm
The amazing Wild Keepers at Keep it Wild are hosting their first ever cleanup in Tucson. Join this fun group as they remove litter and beautify a section of roadway that leads to Mount Lemmon.  -MORE

Tucson Earth Day Festival at Children's Museum | Tucson, AZ | April 21st, 10am - 2pm
Celebrate with the whole family! Engage in environmental activities for all ages, view environmental exhibits, sit in the driver’s seat of alternative fuel cars, and find new ways to go green in the desert.  Free admission. -MORE

Earth Day at Kartchner Caverns | Kartchner Caverns State Park | Benson, AZ | April 21st, 10am - 4pm
Learn about wildlife rehabilitation while seeing wild animals up close. Dig for fossils with help from experts and enjoy the special presentations, games, and activities they will have in store.  For those who want a more hands-on experience, volunteers are welcome for a cave restoration project April 21-22. This is a great opportunity to care for local natural resources, gain some hands-on experience in cave restoration, all while making new friends. Normal park entrance fees apply. -MORE

NAU Earth Month | Flagstaff, AZ | All of April
Northern Arizona University has an entire month's worth of events to celebrate Planet Earth and all the fantastic, sustainable things NAU has to offer. Festivities include a Careers with Impact panel where you can meet professionals making an impact on our environmental, economic, and social sustainability. Attend an art exhibition featuring art created with recycled materials from local artists, stop by discussions with the change-makers, attend sustainable building awards ceremony, and attend the Earth Jam and the Wild & Scenic Film festivals. -MORE

The 3 Rs Show: Recycle, Reuse, Reinvent! | Arts Prescott Gallery | Prescott, AZ | March 23 - April 22
Stop in this artist cooperative gallery and check out works that contain at least 50% materials that are recycled or reused. Admire the effort that local artists tool to turn trash into treasures.  -MORE

Urban Trail Cleanup | Flagstaff, AZ | April 7th, 10am - 12pm
Join the Wild Keepers at Keep it Wild to clean up two urban trails within the Flagstaff Urban Trail System. Help clean up the historic highway Route 66 and urban trail systems. Hang out, do some good, and help keep this beautiful stretch of city free from trash!   - MORE

Earth Day Celebration | Red Rock Park | Sedona, AZ | April 21st, 10am - 3pm
Celebrate Earth Day under the red rocks in beautiful Sedona. There will be special guests, local artwork, activities for kids, raptor and reptile displays, and plenty of hiking and outdoor related fun. Cost is $4 Adult (14+), $2 Child (7-13), or free for children 6 and under. -MORE

Celebration of the Earth with Ken Koshio | Old Town Center for the Arts | Cottonwood, AZ | April 21st, 7pm
Enjoy soulful and powerful beats honoring Earth Day with Ken Koshio, a world class Japanese Taiko drummer. The theme of the concert is “Celebration of the Earth” where art, culture and music intertwine to celebrate the diversity of cultures across the planet. Since ancient times, Taiko rhythms have been dedicated to setting the heartbeat in motion, expressing the melodies and pulse of mother earth. Tickets are $20 in advance, $22 at the door, and $25 for priority. -MORE

Yavapai-Apache Nation & Town of Camp Verde Present Earth Day | Veterans Memorial Park | April 21st, 7am - 2pm
This Earth Day celebration kicks off with a nature walk followed by a fun event to include sister tree planting, Native American dancers, a magic show, an eco-fashion show, tree experts and seedlings, and a solar lamp inventor. There will be arts and crafts booths, games to play, live art mural making to watch, raffle prizes to win, and lunch to be had. -MORE

City of Flagstaff Earth Day Community Clean-up | Bushmaster Park | April 21st, 8:30 - 10:30am
Giving back to your community is one of the most rewarding ways to celebrate Earth Day. Come together with your fellow citizens at this community clean up at Bushmaster Park. Coffee and breakfast will be provided for volunteers. Please bring a refillable water bottle and travel coffee mug. - MORE

City of Flagstaff Earth Day Celebration | Bushmaster Park | April 21st, 11am - 2pm
Following the neighborhood cleanup event, head to the park for a family friendly day full of fun. The Earth Day celebration with have food trucks, live entertainment, and activities for the whole family. There will be exhibitors and vendors from local organizations who will host interactive tabling  to help educate the public on sustainability initiatives. -MORE

Old Town Arts Festival | Cottonwood, AZ | April 21st, 11am - 6pm
The Verde Valley‘s premier arts celebration of Earth Day will showcase fantastic culinary cuisine sourced by locally grown produce and meats, prepared by the finest chefs in Verde Valley. Enjoy delicious wine and spirits as you listen to music or watch performances from various local artists. Granite Creek Cleanup | Prescott, AZ | April 21st, 9am - 12pm
Why not spend the morning with Prescott Creeks making a difference in your community? This family-friendly event has multiple cleanup and restoration activities to choose from. Participants receive a free t-shirt along with snacks and coffee. There have been 46 tons of waste diverted from the creeks over the last 11 years - be part of this impressive change!  -MORE

The Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival provides a unique recreational experience to anyone interested in the natural world and fosters awareness of the importance of habitat for the enrichment of all life in the Verde Valley. Enjoy games and activities designed to inspire and motivate you to care for the natural world. 13th Annual Earth Day at the Market | Phoenix Public Market | Phoenix, AZ | April 21st, 8am - 1pm
Phoenix's long running farmer's market operates with sustainability in mind every week. They are ramping up their efforts for Earth Day with a Native Seed Search plant sale, a yoga class, kids bike course, specialty vendors, a raffle and the opportunity to connect with local growers.  -MORE

Keep Phoenix Beautiful 9th Annual Earth Day | Steele Indian School Park | Phoenix, AZ | April 21st, 11am - 4pm
This Earth Day event is sure to be a fun time with exhibitors that have something for everybody. There will be educational Eco-classes, vendors from sustainability organizations and engaging speakers. True to the spirit of Earth Day, this will be a zero-waste event, meaning everything will be recyclable or compostable. This river and trail cleanup is held in partnership with the city of Glendale and Keep Arizona Beautiful. Get your group together (or come alone) and come do your part for the planet. Help by picking up trash and debris along the New River trail system. It’s a rewarding experience to donate time for such a good cause. -MORE

Renew Artisan Fair | Red Mountain Multigenerational Center | Mesa, AZ | April 21st, 9am - 1pm
This event will focus on supporting local businesses who have sustainable practices including repurposing, reusing, recycling, upcycling and handmade creations. Get fueled up with some delicious, healthy meals and enjoys some fun and unique shopping in this beautiful venue. -MORE

Fountain Hills Dark Sky Festival | Fountain Hills Community Center | April 21st, 3pm - 10pm
Celebrating Earth Day is not just about the dirt beneath our feet, but also the sky above us. Enjoy a unique Earth Day experience as Fountain Hills celebrates their recent “Dark Sky Community” designation.
