The Arb has plenty of family friendly events and activities for both nature lovers and non; including bird walks, garden tours and a new Butterfly House (opening on May 25th) that will engage the senses for every age. 

3. Summer Concerts

Enjoy live music every first Saturday from June through September performed on the Arboretum stage. Surrounded by magnificent pines and a stunning view of the San Francisco Peaks, this popular Summer Concert Series features a wide variety of world-music performances just perfect for all ages. Free entry and the best selection of seasonal plants at the Arb's Annual Seasonal Plant Sale. The Arb offers a large selection of native plants and specialty vegetables for high elevation gardening. The Spring Plant Sale will take place on May 27th followed by the Summer Plant Sale on July 14th.

7. Mushroom Workshops

Calling all mushroom fanatics: the weekend of August 18th and 19th takes you on a morning hike of mushroom discovery, followed by a tasting event that pairs mushroom appetizers with wine and beer tastings. More about the Arboretum at Flagstaff

The Arboretum at Flagstaff is home to 750 species of plants in gardens, greenhouses,
and natural habitats and is located 4 miles south of Route 66 on Woody Mountain Road
on Flagstaff's west side. The Arboretum offers summer nature camps, school programs,
and a variety of other fun and informative events. Admission is $10 for adults; $7 for
seniors, and $5 for youth 5 and up.

The Arboretum is open daily, except Tuesdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm, May through
