Devoured Culinary Classic Adds “The Seven Chef Singh Along” for March 2
The 2016 Devoured Culinary Classic is proud to announce the “The Seven Singh Along” a one-night-only dining event coming to Singh Farms on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Presented in partnership with Local First Arizona and Devour Phoenix as part of the Devoured week of events leading up to the 7th annual Devoured Culinary Classic (February 28 – March 6, 2016), this can’t miss culinary event reunites the Arizona Seven, a collection of local chefs and friends last seen cooking together at the prestigious James Beard House in NYC, for a seven-course feast showcasing local ingredients, AZ Fine Swine’s Mangalitsa pork and wine pairings from top AZ vineyards. The “The Seven Chef Singh Along” is the fourth culinary event organized by the Arizona Seven, a collection of top Valley chefs dedicated to raising awareness of our world-class culinary scene and hopefully bringing the James Beard Award back to Arizona. The first, the 7 Chef Pig Out, was held in June 2014, followed by the 7 Chef Veg Out, the 7 Chef Que-Out and the Arizona Seven dinner at the James Beard House. At The Seven Chef Singh Along, this chef septet will feature Cullen Campbell (Crudo, Okra Cookhouse & Cocktails), Kelly Fletcher (El Chorro), Josh Hebert (Posh Improvisational Cuisine), Scott Holmes (Little Miss BBQ), Stephen Jones (the larder + the delta), Bernie Kantak (The Gladly, Citizen Public House) and Gio Osso (Virtù Honest Craft, Nico). During the wine-paired dinner, each chef will prepare a single course that highlights both their distinctive style, and the bold flavors of Arizona. Each course will be paired with a fine Arizona wine from Dos Cabezas WineWorks, Sand Reckoner Vineyards, Caduceus Cellars and Callaghan Vineyards.
The 7th annual Devoured Culinary Classic will run from February 28 through March 6. The weeklong celebration of food and drink returns with an all-star lineup of local chefs, culinarians, winemakers, brewmasters, and mixologists. The main event, the award-winning Devoured Culinary Classic, will be held on Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6, at Phoenix Art Museum, and will feature a new format, new restaurants and chefs, an intimate VIP experience, and more.
