Northern Arizona Mixer Recap: A night out at Mountain Sports
What a fantastic night to be a part of the northern Arizona community! We had a great night in Flagstaff at Mountain Sports where we all enjoyed the cool weather, treats, local beer and incomparable company. At Mountain Sports the tradition of a family owned and operated business is still alive and well as Mark and his daughter Lisa work side by side with an active team to share their enthusiasm for playing outside. At Mountain Sports, the vibe is always warm and welcoming. They are not only an outdoor shop; they are a gathering spot in the heart of downtown. With open doors as a community space for locals and travelers alike, this retail shop likes to celebrate their friends and neighbors as well as their involvement in all things fun and Flagstaff. Our members enjoyed the best chips and salsa in town catered by Criollo Latin Kitchen, a restaurant that prides itself in its sustainable, local and organic products. We also got to taste a selection of Mother Road Brewing Company's craft beers including their Lost Highway Imperial Black IPA and Gold Road Kolsch Style Ale. There certainly was no shortage of fun at this mixer!
We were excited to catch up with our members on a series of successful events including the Buy Local Month Flagstaff Shopping Crawl and the 2nd Annual Arizona Food and Farm Finance Forum. We also had the chance to discuss upcoming events such as the launch of the Localist program in northern Arizona as well as the BALLE Conference, being held in Phoenix this June. Our next northern Arizona mixer will be held at the beautiful Indian Gardens Cafe & Market in Sedona on February 25th. Join us for more fun and mingling by making your RSVP here.
