Arizona Beer Week 2014
The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild is excited to announce that Arizona Beer Week, inarguably one of the best weeks of the year for the state’s craft beer lovers will take place February 15-22, 2014. The event celebrates craft beer with over 200 events on tap from Flagstaff to Tucson and every brew-lovin’ burg in between. The week will feature beer tastings galore, festivals, beer dinners, craft beer ice cream tastings, special releases, brewery tours and so much more. The Arizona Craft Brewing scene is rapidly growing and the 4th annual Arizona Beer Week is poised to be the largest ever!
The event emphasizes craft beer education, celebrates the artistry of brewing, and will showcase the unveiling of several never-before-seen suds! Check out the list below, to see what some of our members are doing to celebrate Arizona Beer Week.

Four Peaks Brews on a Boat Cruise The Desert Belle and Four Peaks are pleased to announce a unique experience for this year's Arizona Beer Week: A beer dinner on a boat! With 5 courses each paired with a different Four Peaks brew, you'll be taken on a leisurely ride around Saguaro Lake throughout the dinner, making this an enjoyable one-of-a-kind event.
Four Peaks Progression of the Pale Enjoy a journey through the progression of pale ales with Four Peaks Brewing Company at Flanny's Bar & Grill on Monday, February 17th! Four Peaks will be featuring six of their beers for this educational tasting, advancing through the different styles that have contributed to their pale offerings over the years. SanTan Brewing and Four Peaks Brewing Beer Dinner – 6pm – 9pm Arizona's two largest brewing companies are coming together for the first time ever to bring you an amazing beer dinner! This is one you won't want to miss! Vintage 95 chef Michael Wahlberg has created a tantalizing menu of head-on grilled prawns, spiced chicken fritters, pan-seared frog legs, and a deconstructed feijoada (a Portuguese meat and bean stew) with crispy pork belly and grilled pork ribs. Beers will include SanTan’s Saison di Aleatico, Heavy D (imperial Devils Ale), and Russian imperial stout, and Four Peaks’ Double Knot imperial IPA, Odelay Mexican chocolate ale, and Beer Week collaboration Weizenbock. The cost of the 6 p.m. dinner is $65 per person. The first 100 people to arrive will get a special glass etched with the logos of SanTan, Four Peaks, Vintage 95, and Beer Week.
Four Peaks Brewery Tours – 2-4 pm It's the moment that you've been dreaming of! Four Peaks is hosting a series of brewery tours to the general public on Wednesday, February 19th in honor of Arizona Beer Week! Educational and informational, this is a one of a kind guided tour through the historic turn-of-the-century Creamery Building. See how beer is made from the individual ingredients all the way through canning, bottling and kegging! We are now taking reservations for afternoon tours beginning at 2:00pm, 2:45pm, 3:30pm and 4:15pm. These tours will be limited to 12 people each, will be guided by a Four Peaks brewer and will allow the participants to see areas of the brewery previously only heard about in legend or "from that one guy!" There will be a $10 charge to take the tour that will include a commemorative Four Peaks AZBW glass and (2) 10 oz. draft beers.
Four Peaks Beer Dinner at Beckett’s Table – 6 – 8 pm Join Beckett's Table for a three course beer tasting menu paired with Four Peaks brews. Flanny’s Colorado Firkin Festival – 6-10pm Join Flanny's and these great Colorado Breweries for our 3rd annual Colorado Firkin Night. Odell ,Left Hand, Ska, New Belgium, Breckenridge, Oskar Blues, Epic and Great Divide will be bringing some great cask conditioned beers along with other specialty beers on tap.
