Your Tucson Guide to Independents Week 2018

Here's everything you need to celebrate Independents Week in Tucson this year.

Saturday is the kickoff to our favorite week of the year: Independents Week! From June 30 until July 8, we're teaming up with tons of local businesses to offer 20% off everything from lunch, to manicures, to that new pair of running shoes you've been dreaming about. Independents Week is a great time to celebrate the local businesses that help strengthen our local economy and make our city unique. Here's everything you need to know to participate!

Step One: Get yourself a golden coupon.

First things first – in order to access 20% off discounts at some of your favorite local businesses, you'll need to get your hands on a Golden Coupon. There are three ways that you can do this:

  1. Stop by any Vantage West Credit Union branch to pick up a Golden Coupon. While you're there, enter our Local Prize Drawing for the chance to win a $100 gift certificate to Pop-Cycle Shop, a $50 gift certificate to Bookmans Entertainment Exchange, or a gift certificate to Dedicated Gluten Free Bakery!

  2. Head to the Hughes Federal Credit Union website to download the Golden Coupon straight to your phone or computer. While you're there, read about all of the incredible ways Hughes supports local organizations and makes Tucson an even better place to live.

  3. Request a copy of the Golden Coupon on the Local First Arizona website. We'll send it straight to your mailbox.

Step Two: Start Shopping!

Bring your golden ticket with you to any participating business to receive 20% off of your purchase. Check out our Independents Week directory to see where you can use your golden ticket, as well as what deals each business is offering that week.

Step Three: Share Your #IndieWeekAZ Success Story!

Tell the world how great it is to support local, independent businesses when you use the hashtag #IndieWeekAZ on Instagram and Twitter. We love to see how you celebrate Independents Week!
