For(u)m Spotlight -Western Window Systems
Western Window Systems, a home-grown Arizona company established in 1959, has focused on helping people live better through remarkable moving glass walls and beautiful windows that blend the indoors with the outside. Not only does this window manufacturer produce exceptionally high-quality glass goods, they work directly with designers, architects, and developers to customize products to fit the unique needs of each partner. Best of all, they keep their entire team including marketing, IT, manufacturing, administrative, and sales under the same roof. Western Window Systems has over 300 employees in their combination Phoenix office and manufacturing plant.
Last year, Western Window Systems, moved into their new home which is located in South Phoenix. The innovative facility features locally crafted furniture and beautiful murals by Arizona artists making the atmosphere bright and cheerful. The collaborative layout is the perfect open concept for the manufacturing facility and upgraded office spaces.
Ping pong, foosball, corn hole, classic arcade games, and a bright red corkscrew slide are the cherry on top for this cool space!
This new space speaks not only to their commitment to innovation and quality design, but their culture of creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm for everything they do. Make sure to take a look at our feature video above to get a first-hand view of the amazing space!
As an affiliate member of For(u)m, Western Window Systems has exemplified what it means to be an exceptional local subcontractor. After participating in the first Build Local: Subcontractor Expo, they immediately saw the value in cultivating and supporting a localized development supply chain. They then offered to host the next event in their new location to provide a unique space for even more vendors and developers to build connections.
Western Window Systems will host our third Subcontractor Expo scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. The expo will bring together diverse professionals in a fun, casual gathering where subcontractors and developers can find new opportunities to collaborate on projects that honor and preserve Phoenix history, while pushing forward to create sustainable and community-minded spaces.
