15 Things You Must Do at AZ Fall Fest

You may have heard, we’re celebrating the 15th year of Arizona Fall Fest! Nothing celebrates Arizona quite like it —and we’ve got your ultimate guide with 15 must-do things for you to do while there.

1. 🥡 Sample Tour of Arizona

This year, the festival boasts DOUBLE the amount of restaurants and food trucks with over 40 on the line up that will be giving out samples all day long. To get your samples, just purchase your tasting tickets for $1 each at any of Local First Arizona tents throughout the event.

2. 🍹 Drinks: Sip, Sip, Hooray!

Hensley Beverage Garden is a craft beer and wine lover’s dream with over 30 local breweries, wineries, and distilleries pouring Arizona-inspired concoctions. (Get plenty of tasting tickets!)

3. 🎸 Music, Rock Out or Chill Out

Not one, not two, but THREE stages will be featuring some of the best live local entertainment with a multi-cultural stage, the main stage presented by Zia Records and an acoustic 360 stage sponsored by Carvana. Performers include Moonlight Magic, Orphan Ears, Carol Pacey and the Honeyshakers, Pretty Years, Lost in the Sun, Young Mothers, Sydney Sprague, Juniper Ridge, Revizor, Jules Quimby and DJ A Claire Slattery.

4. 🗺️ AZ Fall Fest Passport

Love a scavenger hunt? You’re going to love the passport - and the prize! Get your passport from the Local First Arizona booth and start hunting for the vendors on the sheet. Once you’ve found them all drop it back off at the LFA booth for your chance to win prizes!


5. 🤫 Bid in the Silent Auction

Over 100 prizes, staycations, and curated experiences will be on display at the event, and all bidding will happen online! The Silent Auction will open on October 27th and bidding will run through November 3rd, giving you plenty of time to shop, bid, and win big.

6. 🥁 Captivating Cultural Performances

Along with musical acts, the Arizona Fall Fest brings the best local and international performances of Arizona’s diverse cultures to the stage including Taiko (Japanese) drumming Artist, Ken Koshio.

Planning to make it a family-fun day? The Kid Zone, presented by Risas Dental, has everything for kids of all ages - face painting, giant flossing display, kid-friendly bounce houses, a musical instrument petting zoo, and a chance for kids to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog with PBS KIDS.

9. ⚽ SportZone Overload, Get Active

Join the Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Rising, and Arizona Coyotes for games and activities any kid (or adult!) will love! Back by popular demand: Coyotes will have a street hockey arena near the Hensley Beverage Garden for anyone to enjoy.

Did you know the AZ Fall Fest was awarded the Platinum Level Green Event by ASU’s Sustainable Cities Network? Help us keep up the good work by bringing a reusable water bottle and filling up at our many water stations; take the light rail, carpool, or bike down to the festival. 15. 📱 AZ Fall Fest Has Gone Digital

For the first time ever, attendees can see on their phone which businesses are at the event. Made possible by Festival Title Sponsor and Local First AZ Legacy Partner Hownd, attendees will be able to enjoy every aspect of the festival by viewing participating vendors as well as any special offers available to them by downloading the MyHownd app. The app will be available in your favorite app store on October 18. And the Hownd team will be at the Festival so you can stop by their booth to say hi!
