Welcome To The Team Cara!

Local First Arizona is so excited to welcome Cara Corbinmeyer to the northern Arizona office as the new Northern Arizona Membership Coordinator. Cara is a native Arkansan and has been advocating for sustainable food systems and clean 20150325_105731energy policies at the local, state, and federal levels for the past ten years. Cara was a Technical Specialist at the Institute for Sustainable Energy Solutions where she led policy research and analysis for Northern Arizona University’s engagement in the Four Corners Wind Resource Center. Cara has a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Arkansas and a M.A. in Sustainable Communities from Northern Arizona University. She is a dedicated gardener and composter.

1) I have two sisters and we all live in different states (AZ, TX, and PA).

2) I have no tattoos although my step dad is a tattoo artist.

4) I am always hungry and love to cook and eat.

5) Reading is one of my hobbies and I just joined my first book club.

6) I can't stand horror movies.

7) I do love going to the movies with my kids and just took them to see Cinderella.
