An Evening In The Garden

This is a Northern Arizona March mixer recap Local First Arizona members started the spring season off surrounded by flowers at our photo 1March mixer hosted by the fantastic team of Watters Garden Center. The March mixer for Northern Arizona was Local First Arizona's largest mixer to date. Over seventy people came together to celebrate supporting local businesses. Prescott members and friends from around the region sipped on Granite Mountain Brewery's delicious local beer while enjoying a taste of their new menu including barbequed pork sandwiches, cole slaw, brownies and more.

Watters Garden Center gave attendees violas in every color of the rainbow. Ken Lain, owner, gave a rousing speech on the importance of shopping with locally owned businesses and nurturing the relationships that are a part of shopping with folks you know. Thirteen exciting prizes were donated by local business owners and given away. Mixer attendees walked away with wine, window cleanings, tote bags, gift certificates, and more.

photo 2We had the opportunity to introduce and welcome our new northern Arizona Membership Coordinator Cara Corbinmeyer. We also were able to discuss upcoming events such as the launch of the Localist program in northern Arizona as well as the BALLE Conference, being held in Phoenix this June. Our next northern Arizona mixer will be held at THAT Brewery in Cottonwood on April 8th from 5Pm-7PM. Join us for more fun and mingling by making your RSVP here.
