A Rural Retreat

When the stress of 9-5 gets to you,judypic2 or you just need a break from the kids/parents/dogs, a weekend in rural Arizona is the ideal way to unwind. Just miles away from the hustle and bustle of a growing Casa Grande, visitors and locals can make the escape by traveling a few miles outside of town to where tractors and cowboys continue to roam, and stars can be seen for miles and miles. In a quiet area off a main road in Eloy, surrounded by fields of organic produce, sits The McKenzie Inn Bed and Breakfast. In the early 1900s, Casa Grande was an epicenter of cattle and cotton production, making it the perfect place for this charming retreat. The inn provides a down-home country feel as a family-oriented agritourism accommodation centered around organic food and community. mckenzie inn

At The McKenzie Inn, enjoy the slow pace of country charm with the buzz of the Otter flying overhead to unload the next group of thrill seeking skydivers from nearby Skydive Arizona. The evening sunset brings out cool desert breezes and wildlife softly calls to each other with hoots and howls. Owners Michael and Pani McKenzie began building their dream home in Eloy   in 2006 with farmland surrounding their certified organic farm known as Lucky Nickel Ranch. Mike is a certified organic farmer and Pani is an elementary school teacher. Opening a Bed and Breakfast was a dream come true for the McKenzie family who welcomes visitors into their little paradise complete with warm hospitality and kindness in a secluded area of Pinal County.
