Join Local First at the next Northern Arizona Mixer in Flagstaff

LiteCoTable Local First Arizona is excited to announce that its May mixer in northern Arizona will be in Flagstaff. Join the local business coalition on Wednesday, May 14 from 6-8pm at The Lite Company for a networking event. The Lite Company will invite guests into their beautiful lighting and furniture showroom for an evening full of good food, music and door prizes!  This is a casual come as you are event with local restaurant Salsa Brava providing a Talk of the Town Taco Bar!

LiteCoChairDuring the event, Local First Arizona will share information about its programs and events. The Lite Company and other local business owners will tell the group about upcoming events and new happenings. Local First Arizona is also excited to have special guests from the Flagstaff Independent Business Alliance and Flagstaff Shop Indie at the event. The group will talk about the recent Flagstaff Shop Indie Easter Eggstravaganza campaign, launched this spring, and about upcoming events planned for local businesses in the Flagstaff area. The Flagstaff Arts Council will also attend this event and will talk about its new Cash for Local Change program, a program where local businesses can donate 1% of cash sales toward local community projects.

All locally owned, independent businesses are welcome to attend this event. Guests will have a chance to meet Local First Arizona staff, other businesses in the Flagstaff community, find out about new programs at Local First and more! Join the movement that supports and strengthens local economies throughout Arizona.

Local First Arizona is a statewide non-profit that works to strengthen Arizona’s communities and economy through growing, supporting and celebrating locally-owned businesses. It educates of citizens, business owners, stakeholders and policy makers about the significant economic, civic, and cultural benefits of strong local economies. Founded in 2003 by Kimber Lanning, Local First Arizona is a coalition of locally owned businesses, with over 2,500 members throughout the state. The organization has offices in Phoenix, Tucson and the Verde Valley and programs that support and advocate for local, independent businesses and Arizona’s local communities.
