Flagstaff Shop Indie Easter Eggstravaganza

April 12 - April 19, 2014 indie easter web logoLocal First Arizona, the Flagstaff Independent Business Alliance and Friends of Flagstaff's Future and local, independent Flagstaff businesses are working in partnership on a special promotion this spring. The public is invited to participate in a local business Easter Egg Hunt in Flagstaff during the week leading up to Easter.  It is the partners' goal to increase exposure and revenue in the locally-owned business community.  This is the inaugural “Shop Indie EGGstravaganza” campaign and many local businesses who are members of Local First Arizona and Flagstaff Independent Business Alliance are participating.

IndieEaster_Flagstaff-posterShop Indie EGGstravaganza is a fun event for the whole family. Plastic Easter eggs will be hidden throughout downtown Flagstaff during the week leading up to Easter, from April 12th through April 18th, and at the Earth Day festivities at City Hall on April 19th. The public will have the chance to find the eggs throughout the week, which will be hidden in participating stores and around downtown in outside locations. Each egg will contain a gift certificate to an independent, locally owned shop with a flier explaining the importance and benefits of supporting local Flagstaff businesses.

Participating businesses are located throughout the city, not just in the downtown area, and include:

Flagstaff Sports Exchange Mountain Sports Fizzy Bella Bath Boutique Tranzends Studio Fitness Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course Brandy's Restaurant & Bakery Criollo Latin Kitchen Brix Restaurant Flagstaff Jean Company Gold Wolff Jewelers The Lite Company Buechel Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine The Yoga Experience Asis Massage Education P.J. Local business owners and the campaign partners are coordinating on promotion of this new event and will actively engage customers to come and participate in the search. The public can stay in touch with the event, find out clues about where eggs are hidden and discover which businesses are participating via the Flagstaff Shop Indie Facebook page. Eggs will be found at random and winning customers will have gift certificates to redeem at local businesses.
