Brandy’s Restaurant & Bakery started when owner Brandy Wojciak owned La Bellavia restaurant 36 years ago. In 1993, an opportunity arose to open a second restaurant and Brandy’s Restaurant & Bakery was born. The new restaurant would feature an expanded breakfast and lunch menus and a full- from scratch- bakery and espresso bar. Since selling the first restaurant in 2005, Brandy's has become the sole focus and since has proudly served some of Flagstaff's most delicious food, and displayed the work of local artists of Northern Arizona.

bus_brandy1After 20 years in business, Brandy's is proud to announce that it was the winner of the 2014 Viola Award in the "Business for the Arts" category. Celebrating excellence in the arts and sciences, the Viola Awards recognize artists, educators, organizations and leaders who make positive contributions to the arts and sciences in Flagstaff. Brandy's won this award this year for many good reasons. Many artists have had their works featured on Brandy’s walls: Shonto Begay, Rachel Running, Catherine Sickafoose, Roberta Rogers, Joe Sorren, Amy Horn, Bruce Horn, Fred Calleri, Mike Frick, George Averbeck and Shane McDermott, Connie Townsend, George Lamont Mancuso & former sheriff Joe Richards.

In 2013, Brandy’s celebrated its 20 year anniversary. The July celebration included an outdoor art market where local artists set up booths in the parking lot.  Some artists also did demonstrations.  The event also included face painting, games for kids, food, and raffles that benefitted other non-profits in the community. July also featured a retrospective art show of eight artists who have exhibited at Brandy’s through the years, including local painters Shonto Begay, Connie Townsend, Joe Richards, Catherine Sickafoose, Roberta Rogers, and Mike Frick, photographer Debbie Leavitt and well-known glass artist, George Averbeck.
