Northern Arizona Mixer Recap

LFA Mixer_Clarkdale_CrowdThe most recent northern Arizona mixer in Clarkdale was a great success. The Town of Clarkdale hosted a group of over 50 local business owners, artists, and members of town leadership and regional leadership. We are grateful for the excellent turnout and attribute the positive feedback to the enthusiasm from the local Verde Valley community. Over the past year, there have been a TON of exciting things going on in northern Arizona. We are happy to announce that our membership growth in northern Arizona this year has been tremendous - with 108% increase in membership in 2013! This is an enormous boost to the local business network in northern Arizona, and the Verde Valley, where we are close to reaching 100 businesses! We are also excited to note that we have our first Localists in northern Arizona! We welcome all the new business members and Localists on board and look forward to working with you all!

LFA Mixer_Clarkdale_Jodie_DougWe would like to send out a special thank you to the Town of Clarkdale (especially Jodie Filardo and Beth Escobar) for hosting us, The Clarkdale Historical Society for the tour of the historic Clark Memorial Clubhouse, and the Clarkdale Town Council and Mayor Doug Von Gausig for their continued support of Local First Arizona in the Verde Valley. We also want to thank Nate's Cowboy Cafe, Su Casa, Verde Canyon Railroad, Andrea Miller and the #1 Food Store (all from Clarkdale) for providing all the delicious food for the event. Last but not least, we also want to thank 2 G's and a C Note for entertaining us with live entertainment.

And finally, we want to thank all the local businesses and individuals who came out  to Clarkdale from far and wide...on a cold Friday night!
