Fall Business News Round Up for Clarkdale

SuCasa_Best Clarkdale in the Verde Valley is enjoying a resurgence of commercial activity, with new local businesses moving to Town and old local favorites expanding and going strong. If you haven't been to Clarkdale lately, now is the time to go!

This summer, Nate’s Cowboy Cafe moved to 1481 SR 89A, in Clarkdale, just past the Lincoln/Lisa Roundabout. Nate’s serves comfort food and is open every day for lunch or dinner. Nate is planning a week-long buffet during Thanksgiving, so plan to bring your family while they are in Town for a visit.

Also this summer, Su Casa on Main Street opened a new outdoor dining patio. This is a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

The Corner Gallery, at 921 Main Street, opened in August. A part of Made in Clarkdale, the gallery provides a location for member artists to display and market their work. The Corner Gallery is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12 noon to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Two new businesses have chosen Clarkdale as a home. Jessie’s Salon, located at 906 South First Street, is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9-4. Jessie is a third generation Clarkdale business owner. The salon provides haircuts and color.  Call (928) 300-3585 for an appointment.

And on Main Street, the much anticipated Four Eight Wineworks, Clarkdale’s first wine-tasting room at 907 Main, next to the Newstand, opened on October 25th.

Plan to visit to enjoy fine, locally grown and produced wines. This new business will be a great complement to the existing businesses along Main Street – the Main Street Café and Pizzeria, and the 10/12 Lounge, which continue to serve-up great food, beverages and live entertainment. And still to come, the Copper Art Museum, at 849 Main Street is scheduled for opening December 1st.
