Kate grew up on goat milk and goat milking in the rural northern Arizona town of Cornville. This experience in agriculture and food business developed into her passion for community, small-scale food production, and rural prosperity.

What I love about Arizona:
I love the mountain tops, the canyon bellies, the desert floors, and everywhere in between. The climate and life here is so diverse and resilient.

BA in Environmental Studies/Biology;
Minor in Geology from Whitman College.
Permaculture Design Certificate from the
Sonoran Permaculture Guild.
Maricopa County Master Gardener.
