A little bit about the presenting organizations:
The Democracy at Work Institute’s training program is aimed at supporting worker cooperative members, managers and developers learn tools and frames for business sustainability and growth. The program offers intensives, fellowships, workshops, webinars, and offerings through the School for Democratic Management.
Technicians for Sustainability is a Tucson based, employee-owned, mission driven company specializing in renewable energy and sustainable technology for residential and commercial settings.
This event is open to anyone but specifically those in businesses and organizations who:
Don’t have much background on the ins and outs of employee ownership opportunities
Established businesses whose owners are contemplating succession planning
Start-ups that are interested in profit sharing and employee ownership
Any “sharing and sustainability minded” business leaders
7:30-8:00am : Check-In at Goodman’s. Grab a snack, a friend, and a seat to collaborate
8:00-9:30 : We will start with a 10 minute introduction from each presenter and then a moderated panel. We recommend taking notes during the presentations so that you can ask questions during the Q&A.
