More about LFA Member Gatherings:
Local First Arizona hosts rotating member gatherings all around the state every month. Unlike your typical mixer, you won’t be shuffling business cards and hoping for leads. Rather, we are in the business of creating meaningful, genuine connections that build trust, loyalty, and business opportunities. Each event is carefully curated to bring out the best of Arizona, and connect members in a fun, casual setting.
Refreshments and networking are paired with an energetic presentation on LFA news, events, and our statewide initiatives. Businesses in attendance are welcome to bring an item to donate towards the raffle.
Thank you to our sponsors:
More about THAT Brewery:
Steve and Tamara Morken owned and operated Rimside Grill & Cabins in Pine, Arizona from June 2004 to June 2012 when they converted the location to THAT Brewery & Pub.
The amount of experience from day to day operations of creating recipes, inventory control, accounting, marketing, employee management, bar tending, dishwashing, waiting tables, consulting, cooking, home brewing, training with a master brewer and brewing THAT beer, developing the distribution network associated with that process has provided the couple valuable insight into the craft beer industry.
In August of 2014, Steve and Tamara opened up a second location in Cottonwood. From the outside, it looks like a typical industrial park building. But once inside, you will find a bustling, sometimes noisy working production line for THAT beer.
Did you know that THAT has their very own podcast? About twice a month, the THAT Team sits down to share all the events and happenings at their Pine and Cottonwood locations... they also talk a lot about beer! Listen to the podcast audio series, THATcast HERE.
Their wines are made from Wilcox fruit, in addition to local fruit and produce from their Verde Valley orchard and greenhouses. What they aren’t able to grow, they source locally from McClendon Farms, Blue Sky Organic Farms, and other various Arizona farms. Merkin's poultry and beef are sourced from Top Knot Farms and Arizona Grass Raised Beef Co.. Hayden Mills is the cornerstone of our house made pastas and bread.
