Local First Arizona's Founding Director Kimber Lanning will be presenting at the Small Business Forum hosted by Congressman Tom O'Halleran's office on October 16th in Sedona. This Forum will be a great opportunity for small business owners and business groups to gather and learn about the resources available in northern Arizona and will address some of the unique challenges faced by businesses in rural communities.
The Forum will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Sedona Public Library and includes a packed agenda including a session from Local First Arizona's Founding Director, Kimber Lanning who will share the acclaimed Leveraging Your Localness presentation. This will be followed by a funding panel including representatives from the Verde Valley Regional Economic Organization (VVREO), Sustainabile Economic Development Initiative (SEDI), and Country Bank, who will share current opportunities to access capital and way to grow your business. The final session is a resource panel including representatives from NACOG, Local First Arizona, and the Yavapai College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) who will discuss other important business resources in the region.
