Join Local First Arizona and the Arizona Copper Art Museum in Clarkdale for an evening networking opportunity with fellow independent businesses and local leaders on Wednesday, May 10th from 6 - 8 p.m.
Local First Arizona networking mixers are a great way to meet fellow Local First Arizona (LFA) members and other independent business owners and a great opportunity to connect with LFA staff and hear more about the local movement in Arizona. Refreshments and networking are paired with an energetic presentation on LFA news, events, and our statewide initiatives. Businesses in attendance are welcome to bring something to donate towards a raffle. Light appetizers will be provided by the host business.
Mixers are open to Local First Arizona members. Guests may attend with an existing member or by the invitation of LFA staff. If you have questions about the event or would like to attend as a non member, email [email protected]
Governors 2017 Art Award
To add to the event, The Arizona Copper Art Museum will be finding out on May 4th if it has been selected for the 2017 Governors Art Award. This would be huge for a rural entity to win such an honor.
New Museum Room - Clark Mansion Archway
The museum has placed and rebuilt the facade archway of the Clark House, aka Clark Mansion that burned near Peck's Lake in 2010. The embellishments are now part of the "welcoming room/entrance" to visitors of the museum. They are preserved and available for everyone to see through an agreement with the Town of Clarkdale. FYI- The museum will be constructing a wrought iron gate for this archway per original blueprints of the mansion. Photo Included. Obviously either lost over time or never made. The three central windows have also been rebuilt.
Food / Drinks
The mixer will provide food, grilled hamburgers, bocca burgers, and the trimmings, drinks as well. Since this is an old high school we hope to provide a skit for some quick entertainment.
