LFA For(u)m is proud to partner with the Sustainable Communities Collaborative to celebrate the grand opening of Union @ Roosevelt, the Roosevelt neighborhood’s newest mixed-use development near Downtown Phoenix, and steps away from the Roosevelt and Central Valley Metro light rail station.
Union @ Roosevelt represents the first project funded by the Sustainable Communities TOD Fund, the game-changing $20 million revolving fund formed by LISC Phoenix and Raza Development Fund to support and advocate for quality transit-oriented development in the Valley. This corner – a vacant lot for over 50 years – is now home to the newest TOD project serving as a gateway into both Roosevelt and downtown.
Metrowest Development's latest project with impressive views down 1st Avenue into the heart of downtown builds on a successful track record of residential development in the Roosevelt Historic District. The streetscape on this corner is now activated and boasts a new location for NCounter, a breakfast and lunch restaurant; GenuWine Arizona, a neighborhood wine bar; and two more retail tenants to be announced soon.
Speakers include Mayor Greg Stanton; Matt Seaman, one of the partners of Metrowest Development; Terry Benelli of LISC Phoenix; Andie Abkarian of Roosevelt Action Association; and other special guests to be announced soon! Refreshments will be provided by NCounter and GenuWine, and personal tours of the building will follow the ceremony.
