About Emily

Healthy foods cordinator

Emily is a Scottsdale native with a passion for local, regenerative food systems. Her experience living and working on an educational organic farm in Northern California ignited her passion to work toward the same ethos of community-based local food in her home state. She loves Arizona (especially in the summer) and when she’s not out hiking or biking, she’s usually cooking, checking out new local spots, or watering plants.

Hometown: Scottsdale, Arizona

What I love about Arizona:
I love the mountains here, there’s nothing like hiking and exploring in the Arizona wilderness. One of my favorite things to do is look up at the mountains surrounding Phoenix as they start to turn pink and purple at sunset.

Bachelors of Art in Urban and Environmental Policy, Occidental College
