Each year their largest fundraiser is the Sweepstakes program. Where their nicely dressed chaperoned boys stand in front of site and sell sweepstakes tickets. Last year they utilized the store fronts of Fry's, Safeway, Uptown Farmers Market, Changing Hands Book Stores and Ace Hardware. They sold over 8,000 tickets and raised $225,000. If any restaurant has high foot traffic and is willing to allow the boys to site sell in front of their store, they would appreciate it. Please contact - Conay Huizar, [email protected]
Supporting the promotion and development of the culinary and extended local food community and culture in Arizona is our main objective. At nearly ten years in, the signature Devour Culinary Classic has become the Southwest region’s premier culinary celebration of local talent, selling out in record time for the past four years. Now the capstone, the two-day Devour Culinary Classic sits at the helm of Devour Week, a festival of multiple distinct events that intentionally showcase Arizona’s culinary personalities and food culture while uniting food and beverage enthusiasts from all over Arizona and the southwest region and furthering Arizona as a dining destination worthy of international prestige. 100% of all proceeds from the annual Devour Culinary Classic benefit the non-profit efforts of Local First Arizona, Desert Botanical Garden, and Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance.
