Procurement Matters
Procurement Matters is a study of comparative economic impact (download study in PDF format). The study focuses on the share of revenue retained in the local economy by two competing firms:
- Wist Office Products, the largest independently owned office supply company in the southwest. In business since 1955, Wist is locally owned and operates a warehouse and administrative offices in Tempe.
- Office Max Contract, the contract supply division of Office Max.
The study was conducted by Civic Economics, an economic analysis and strategic planning consultancy with offices in Austin and Chicago.
