Holiday Tale: The Local Store on the Corner

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
you know Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen,
But do you recall
The most famous holiday hero of all?

The local store on the corner,
Had a very shiny sign
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows

All of the big box stores
Used to laugh and call him names,
They never let the poor local store
Join in any policy games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say,
Little store with your sign so bright,
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?

For the products from the Big Box Store had broken,
And the children they had spoken,
Their wish would only come true,
through the support from me and you.

Then how all the people loved him,
As they shouted out with glee,
Local Business,
You'll go down in history!
