1. Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Festival - Every weekend in October, 2016

Get excited for the fall season as Mortimer Farms celebrates their annual Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze every weekend in October in Dewey, AZ. This huge festival's centerpiece is a 15-acre Pumpkin Patch & 25-acre Corn Maze! Fun for the whole family includes “A-MAIZE-ing” attractions, games, farm activities, live entertainment, barn dance, and much more!

2. Howl-o-ween Spooktacular - October 29th, 2016

Clarkdale Arizona presents a pet festival and costume contest! This event's proceeds benefit animal rescue and adoption. Clarkdale is a small town that knows how to have big fun for the whole family.  Trick or treat with your dog from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. 

3. Halloween Harvest in Downtown Flagstaff - October 31st, 2016

Halloween Harvest is the best place to go trick-or-treating in Flagstaff!  This event is safe and fun for the whole family. If you are a little old for trick-or-treating have no fear, there are tons of great places to sit back and enjoy a cold brew while you take in all of the excitement. There will be a phantom pumpkin patch, creepy carnival games, chilling crafts and more! Local businesses will be giving out candy to participants. 

4. Jerome Halloween Dance at Spook Hall - October 30th, 2016

Jerome, Arizona is a spooky place to be in October. The famous ghost town goes all out for Halloween. The Halloween Dance Party begins at 9 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m. It includes a full cash bar and a costume contest with different categories that vary from year to year. Jerome businesses donate prizes for the winners, including dinners, overnights, and gift certificates.

5. Town of Payson Trunk or Treat Festival - October 31st, 2016

Witches and goblins looking for a place to enjoy Halloween night should look no further than the Town of Payson’s Trunk or Treat Festival on Historic Main Street. Candy will be provided by the Payson Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department and "trunk" participants will be handing it out. Trunk or Treat intended for young children under age 12 to ensure a safe trick or treating experience. There will be spooky music and vendors. It’ll be fun for the whole family.

6. Pumpkin Walk and Fall Festival - October 22nd, 2016 

The Arboretum at Flagstaff announces the 2016 Pumpkin Walk & Fall Festival this Saturday, October 22 from 3 – 8 pm. Come in costume and bring your flashlight to walk through the gardens on trails lit by glowing jack-o-lanterns. Prizes for best pumpkin entries and best costume. Enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, hot cider, hot fall food from Good Times Rolling Kitchen, hay rides, a haunted trail, scary stories around a campfire, and, new this year, a kid-friendly haunted house!

7. The Valley of the Moon presents The Case of Sleepy Hollow - Throughout October, 2016

The Case of Sleepy Hollow is a 45 minute walking adventure through Valley of the Moon where you become part of the story! Visiting Valley of the Moon in October is a Tucson Tradition! Make it your tradition, too! Why have people been disappearing from Sleepy Hollow? Is there really a Headless Horseman? And where in the world has Ichabod Crane gone? This October bring your whole family to Valley of the Moon for an evening of wonder, whimsy, magic, and adventure.

8. The Loft Cinema presents Frankenstein - October 31st, 2016

He’s back!  This Halloween, celebrate the scariest night of the year with Benedict Cumberbatch in Danny Boyle’s smash-hit stage adaptation of Mary Shelly’s terrifying classic, Frankenstein! Cumberbatch stars as The Creature and Jonny Lee Miller plays The Doctor in this version of the National Theatre Live hit!  One night only. 

9. 4th Avenue Spooky Kids Costume Party - October 28th, 2016

Halloween screams continue with 4th Avenue’s annual kids’ costume contest, which includes awesome music, goody bags, and trick-or-treating up and down the Avenue.

10. Hotel Congress Halloweekend - October 28th - 31st, 2016

A whole weekend full of halloween activities to haunt your memories for years to come. Early and late night costume contests where Hotel Congress is giving away a 50″ Smart TV, cash, gift certificates, and a Dos Equis cooler, jacket, and swag. On the 31st there will be a Halloween Night Dance Party at 8 p.m.

12. Marana Pumpkin Patch and Farm Festival - October 1st - 30th, 2016

There's no better way to celebrate the fall season than joining us for some fun at Marana Pumpkin Patch and Farm Festival. This is the sixth year that Marana Pumpkin Patch is open, and they have tons of surprises in store! With their 50 acre field, it's an event you won't want to miss this year. 

13. Quartzsite's Pumpkin Parkway Halloween - October 29th, 2016

Businesses, RV Parks, Organizations, and Individuals are encouraged to participate in Quartzsite's Pumpkin Parkway Halloween Saturday, Oct. 29th. There'll be prizes, costume contests, trick-or-treating, a haunted house, and more! The event will be along the walking path between Community Center & Town Hall.

14. The Great Pumpkin Festival at Desert Botanical Garden - October 21-23, 2016

Celebrate a fall tradition with Desert Botanical Garden. Take a hayride out to the Pumpkin Patch, where children 12 and under can find a perfect pumpkin! Attempt the hay bale maze, decorate your pumpkin and visit the Community Garden to see how pumpkins and vegetables grow. Test your skills on carnival-style games, dance to folk, country and bluegrass music, and meet adorable farm animals. 

15. Hallow Weenie with Short Leash - October 30th, 2016

Join Short Leash Hot Dogs as they celebrate Oktoberfest with SanTan Brewing! Bring your dog dressed in their best costume for a chance to be the wiener of their contest! They will have craft can bucket special, live music, photo booth, prizes and a doggie costume contest! The proceeds of the 50/50 Raffle and a portion of the sales will go towards a local charity Lost Our Home Foundation. Don’t miss out!

Join DeSoto Central Market for a Halloween Doggie Costume Party! Celebrate the launch of their weekly Saturday morning Yappy Hour for dog lovers, dog owners and, most importantly, the pups! Starting Oct 29th, they will host a Yappy Hour every Saturday! Enjoy the dog-friendly patio with DJ tunes, a special Yappy Hour menu for the 2-legged and 4-legged, and dress your pooch up to unbearable cuteness. 18. Bashas' Halloween Celebration - All 58 locations across the state - October 29th, 2016

Bashas’ invites children of all ages to dress in their festive Halloween costumes and attend a party at one of the 58 stores in Arizona, as well as Eddie’s Country Store in Pinetop and Food City locations in Parker and Lake Havasu City. This event is from 10:00AM - 2:00PM and is FREE for all families. They will offer Trick-or-treating throughout the store; free cookies and apple cider tasting; picture taking opportunities; halloween cake decorating for $5; and caramel apple dipping for $3.
