Commoner & Co.
Commoner and Co. opened with a lot of buzz in the summer of 2015. Executive Chef Virginia Wooters developed a menu that she described to Tuscon Foodie as "classic comfort food made whimsical". The whimsy will be continuing at SAVOR Food & Wine Festival where guests can sample selections from the New American menu.
The Living Room
The newest Tucson restaurant present at SAVOR, The Living Room, joined a locally owned family of restaurants with a Tucson location in Winter of 2015. This modern day neighborhood hangout takes the pairing of wine, dine and brunch very seriously. Guests have been invited to live, laugh, lounge in the comfort of The Living Room. At SAVOR, it can be expected that they will be sampling innovative, fresh menu items with the high-class hospitality they are known for.
Est. in 2014 The Still is a true speakeasy with their address on Facebook listed as "Somewhere in Tucson, AZ". The Still is coming into the light of day for the SAVOR Food and Wine Festival to showcase their menu and spirits which regularly includes Meatball Sliders, Garlic Curry Chicken Satay, and Prohibition era drinks. Much like the mysterious vision that inspired a new speakeasy in the American southwest, the details are still unknown for what The Still will bring for SAVOR but it is guaranteed to be high quality, fresh, and authentic.
These three new restaurants excel in their craft and we cannot wait to see what they bring for us at SAVOR. The full list of participating restaurants, vineyards, and breweries includes Agustin Kitchen, The Coronet, Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery / Bistro, Mama’s Hawaiian BBQ, North Italia, [POPPED] Artisan Popcorn, Maynard's Market & Kitchen, Borderlands Brewing Company, Sonoita Vineyards, Three Wells Distilling Company, Black Crown Coffee, and many more.
