Help a homeless animal today by shopping at the Arizona Animal Rescue Coalition (AARC) thrift shop, a volunteer-based shop that sells used clothing, furniture, housewares, accessories, jewelry and more. AARC is a nonprofit organization with a mission to raise money for non-profit animal rescue organizations throughout Maricopa County, and operates a donation-based thrift store located at 1945 W. Dunlap Ave. Profits received from the sale of these donations go to funding numerous animal rescues that foster, offer veterinary care, spay, neuter, and find permanent homes for all animals. Packed with treasures, good prices and a great cause, the AARC thrift store is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is an excellent under-the-radar spot for those who enjoy a good thrifting experience.

Get involved! The AARC thrift store is always in need of volunteers who can lend a hand at the shop. You can also lend your support by bringing your gently used items which can greatly benefit animal rescues working to ensure homeless animals are receiving the love, shelter and care that they desperately need. Donations are accepted during the store’s normal business hours and are tax deductible. Your support greatly helps AARC and its animal rescue partners find loving homes through adoption, care, and the rescue of homeless cats and dogs. Check out their website to learn more.
