Finnerty will be speaking to Local First Arizona (LFA) business members on October 19th teaching leaders about Storytelling For Fun and Profit for LFA's Monthly Business Seminar Series.

Megan Finnerty is an Arizona Republic reporter, emcee, and founder of the Arizona Storytellers Project. In her own words she is a professional listener. She blends human connection into captivating stories and shares her thirteen years of journalism experience helping guide people to their most important narratives.
Finnerty has shared her expertise with over 460 individuals including CEOs, rock stars, Olympic athletes, politicians and entrepreneurs teaching them how to tell a compelling first-person story and make connections with their audiences. She has hosted more than 70 nights of live storytelling since founding Arizona Storytelling Project in 2011. These nights blend the authenticity and hype-free discipline of storytelling as an art form with the truthfulness, community-building and empowerment that’s at the heart of great journalism. She also prefers a bold lip to a smoky eye.
