The fourth annual Gilbert Art Walk is kicking into full swing again, taking place on the first and third Saturdays from 9am to 1pm until March. Located at the Water Tower Plaza in downtown Gilbert, patrons can enjoy a family-friendly, fun-filled afternoon discovering up-and-coming and well-known artists. Since September 2011, the Gilbert Art Walk has become a blossoming event for artists to showcase and sell their creations. The Gilbert Art Walk accepts artists in a wide variety of mediums such as painting, sculpture, collage, three-dimensional art, calligraphy, architecture, photography, conceptual art, printmaking, jewelry, and many others. Artists qualify to be part of the venue through a jury selection process performed by other artists in the group.

This biweekly event is centrally located, close to Hale Centre Theatre, Postino Wine Cafe - East, Liberty Market, The Farmhouse Restaurant, Joe's Real BBQ, Bergies Coffee Roast House, Oregano's Pizza Bistro, and many more local businesses. Even more exciting - this eclectic event takes place the same time as the nearby  Gilbert Farmers Market. Now, you can swing by both events when in Gilbert on a Saturday morning, grab a bite to eat, peruse through a great collection of art for your newest art piece, kickstart your holiday shopping, and pick up some farm fresh eggs and locally grown veggies all within walking distance of each other. Admission and parking is free to the public too! Learn more about this great event in the heart of Gilbert on their website or check out the Art Walk’s latest updates on their Facebook page.
