We could not have asked for a better way to end our summer season of northern Arizona mixers than the evening we had at Mother Road Brewing Company in Flagstaff last week. Temperatures are starting to drop and the air is turning crisp, but with a fire pit, tasty craft beer and delicious pizza from Pizzicletta we all enjoyed one last evening of summer fun. Founders of Mother Road Brewing Company Alissa and Michael Marquess have a deep passion for craft beer and the enjoyment of life. Their motto "Finding Joy in the Adventure" is a testament to the hard work their team has put in, and the fun they have doing it, to create one of the finest craft breweries around. Housed in a renovated 1920's commercial laundry, guests were as impressed with scenery as they were with the brews. We enjoyed a range of beers including the Gold Road Kolsch-Style Ale and the Lost Highway Imperial Black IPA.
Guests were grateful that Mother Road teamed up with newcomer Pizzicletta to co-host the event. This wood-fired pizzeria had us delightfully full from snacking on their selection of treats. Guests got to try slices of unique creations like the rucola pizza, topped with arugula and parmigiano-reggiano, as well as the amore oi mari, topped with mascarpone and prosciutto.
As guests enjoyed great food and drinks the Local First Arizona team discussed the out come of our recent Localist Launch Party in Flagstaff and the launch of Good Food Finder AZ. Join us in October for our mixer at Chitwood's Cabinets in Payson, where they believe that the process of a remodel or constructing a new home shouldn’t be stressful but rather an enjoyable time. Come out on Wednesday, October 21st from 5-7 to take in the remarkable craftsmanship as we discuss our upcoming Fall Festival and other Local First Arizona events. RSVP HERE!
Thank You to all of our attendees for the great night!
