This is a northern Arizona member spotlight for Cork & Cuisine in Prescott Valley. Cork & Cuisine is a locally owned restaurant in Prescott Valley that offers the ultimate wine and food experience. With a quaint, homelike atmosphere patrons feel as if they were having dinner at their friends home. By appreciating the sense of community Prescott Valley offers, owner Sherri Cook utilizes all of the great local resources for fresh meats, produce, micro brews and local wines ultimately providing a true taste of Arizona.
Cork & Cuisine has a monthly changing menu of wine selection and beers, as well as their 100% scratch made food. The January menu offers fantastic plates including wine poached swordfish, linguica sausage & portobello mushroom flatbread and Polish kielbasa. Featured wines this month consist of the 2013 Santa Julia Innovacion which boasts sweet plum and black cherry with hints of tobacco, mesquite and toasted marshmallow, and the 2013 Santa Julia Pinot Grigio that offers a savory blend of pears, apples, melon and tropical fruit. By using a menu that stays consistent with what is fresh and in season a special uniqueness is brought not only to Prescott Valley but to the entire Quad Cities area.
On Friday and Saturday nights, by reservation only, Cork & Cuisine invites diners to experience their unique weekly Wine Me, Dine Me event. Patrons may sit at the chef's table for a specially designed three-course food and wine-pairing. Guests are encouraged to talk with the staff, eat, ask questions and enjoy an experience like no other. In addition, the chef will accommodate those with food allergies or special diets ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy themselves.
