Enjoy supporting local businesses, trying new Arizona wine and get the added perk of a limited edition Passport T-shirt! Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, Burning Tree Cellars and Page Springs Cellars collaborate on a new “Passport” program that rewards travelers who visit each winery.
The idea came about initially as a way to show appreciation to guests. If a customer visits Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, Burning Tree Cellars and the Page Springs Cellars tasting rooms and purchases a bottle at each place, they get a T-shirt. There’s no specific order, just visit any one of the three participating wineries to get your Passport and get started!
Mitch Levy, Co-Owner at Burning Tree Cellars, is excited to be a part of this collaboration. "It's an honor to be included in this program with two great wineries. Each of us offers a unique experience and atmosphere."
The Burning Tree Cellars and Arizona Stronghold tasting rooms are located in charming Old Town Cottonwood, mixed among new eateries, antique stores and boutique shops. Sit and sip fabulous Rhone style wines on Burning Tree’s relaxing outdoor patio where you’ll find local live music every Friday and Saturday night. You may be familiar with Stronghold’s flagship wines, like Tazi and Nachise, but the tasting room features exclusive small production wines that you won’t find in grocery stores or wine shops. The Page Springs Cellars tasting room and vineyard are located in Cornville along the banks of Oak Creek. Take a guided tour through the vineyards and wine cellar with Page Spring’s knowledgeable staff to learn about the process of winemaking from start to finish. Tours are offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
When you make a purchase at each tasting room, your “Passport” will be stamped. It’s a fun way to collaborate together and encourage wine lovers to visit other local wineries and tasting rooms. There is so much that the Verde Valley has to offer, not the least of which is amazing Arizona wine! It can be hard to imagine such great wines coming from our region, but it’s true. They are fantastic and rival any of the major wine regions across the world.
“I am really excited to be a part of this program. After being a part of a similar program years ago, and seeing its success, it was a no-brainer. Our guests loved it, and I am happy it’s back,” said Kevin Grubb, Arizona Stronghold Tasting Room Manager.
To get your limited edition T-shirt, visit any of the three tasting rooms and simply ask about our Passport program. The friendly staff at all the tasting rooms will get you started, and help you pick out a tasty bottle.
