Local businesses are flourishing in Clarkdale. Several businesses have opened up in just the past year! These include the Copper Art Museum, The Clarkdale Caboose Gift Shop, Verde River Adventures, Made in Clarkdale's Corner Gallery, Four - Eight Wineworks, Treasure Junkies, The Clarkdale Market and there is a new boutique opening up this summer! The Clarkdale Market, located at 915 Main Street, opened mid-March. The market stocks all types of groceries, including canned and dry goods, milk and farm-fresh eggs. The Clarkdale Market is open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Clarkdale Caboose Gift Shop, located at the corner of Main and Ninth Street, has joined our business community, carrying all types of local gifts, snacks and more! The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Verde River Adventures recently opened a headquarters in Clarkdale on Tenth Street providing guided tours of an approximately three mile stretch of the Verde River. In addition to the guided tours, the Clarkdale location includes a retail shop selling equipment and supplies for tubing and kayaking. Plus, the adjacent Verde River Yacht Club serves breakfast and lunch, including delicious coffee and freshly prepared breakfast burritos and sandwiches.
These new businesses and Clarkdale's favorites are working together, with the Town of Clarkdale, to partner on promotions, events and other ideas to boost local businesses.
A new local business coalition has formed among locally-owned businesses in Clarkdale. The 10-12 Lounge, Clarkdale Classic Station, Made in Clarkdale's Corner Gallery, Main Street Cafe & Pizzeria, The Clarkdale Caboose Gift Shop, The Copper Art Museum and Four - Eight Wineworks are among these businesses who have banded together to brand Clarkdale as the place to be! They are hoping to expose all the great things to do in the town, all the amazing local businesses and to make an impact on attracting tourism to the community.
These businesses and others are currently in the process of planning more events in Clarkdale, such as a bank robbery re-enactment in the summer and an Octoberfest celebration in the fall. Stay tuned to the Town of Clarkdale's website for more information. In the meantime, make plans to join them all for the annual summer concert series, which starts in June and occurs every other Saturday throughout the summer in the town park.
The Town of Clarkdale is also helping with the marketing efforts. Locally Clarkdale is an effort sponsored by the Town to help promote its locally owned businesses. The town has endorsed the promotional efforts of the local business community, partnered with Local First Arizona on promotions and even started its own Locally Clarkdale YouTube channel!
