This Member Spotlight is on Phoenix Film Festival: For fourteen years, the Phoenix Film Festival has supported independent artists as an opportunity to showcase independent filmmaking and it has quickly become Arizona's largest film festival. With screenings of great independent films, awesome parties and film workshops, the 14th Annual Phoenix Film Festival is just around the corner. From April 3 -10, enjoy eight days of cinema magic on seven screens at the Harkins Scottsdale/101 theatre. Voted as one of the coolest film festivals in the nation, this year's Phoenix Film Festival once again brings to town visionary gems, celebrity sightings, and great celluloid-focused parties to the Valley of the Sun.
The Opening Night Premier Party kicks off the event on April 3rd with a cocktail party, Celebration of the Art of Food, presentation of its 2014 Visionary Award and the screening of "Locke," starring Tom Hardy. April 5th is Kids' Day, where children ages 5 to 12 get in for free and can experience film making including acting, creating soundtracks and writing a script "Mad Lib" style. Experience all the event has to offer with Festival passes or you can grab tickets for individual screenings.
