March Southern Arizona Member Mixer Recap at Goodmans

Our March southern Arizona mixer was hosted by Rob Stenson of Goodmans Interior Structures.  Local First Arizona Executive Director Kimber Lanning gave an inspiring update on the important political work being done by Local First AZ.  "When you have room for everyone, that builds a movement that creates positive change." LFA members were also thrilled to learn about the work being done by LFA sustaining member, Goodmans. While it was easy to be distracted by all the chic furnishings on display, the real wow factor is that Goodmans truly walks the walk towards being a force for positive change in our community.  This third generation family business is the largest office furniture dealer in the southwest and a pioneer for setting an example of positive business leadership.  "Goodmans is a B Corp, with our values written into the corporate charter," says Rob.  "As a B Corp we are accountable to our people, our community and our environment."

Rob provided beer and wine for all the attendees as well as delicious food from LFA Tucson's own internet celebrity, Rocco's Little Chicago Pizza.  Members snacked on tasty antipasto and pizza. Our mixer raffle featured two stuffed Serta sheep from Arizona Beds, concert tickets from SAACA, 100 merchant gift cards from SAGE payment systems and a gift basket from Mama’s Hawaiian BBQ.
