This member spotlight is on Brat Haus: Right in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale is the Brat Haus, a bit of paradise that comes in the form of an urban beer garden, amazing brats and sausages, homemade pretzels and over 25 craft beers on tap. It’s a great spot to take out of towners, a casual refuge on a Friday or Saturday night, or a hip lunch/happy hour date with the coworkers, especially during this time of the year when the weather is perfect for playing ping pong, tetherball, life-size Jenga and darts in the outdoor beer garden.
Brat Haus specializes in serving up some of the tastiest brats in the Valley, made in house using only Niman Ranch pork for an all-natural, gluten-free dining experience. But the goodness doesn’t stop at the brats, Brat Haus dishes up scrumptious German cuisine featuring Sauerbraten short ribs, and schnitzel served over spatzle. Other unique offerings like homemade pretzels with a warm beer cheese fondue called fundido, Chicken and Waffles and bacon wrapped dates round out the menu. The craft beer list includes selections from Germany, Belgium and North America. If you haven’t yet experienced Brat Hause, be sure to put it on your radar – you won’t be disappointed!
