Pick Your Party

Cocktail Carnival 15Alongside statewide food and drink specials and expert-led seminars, the 2014 AZCW will feature more cocktail-fueled events than you can shake a swizzle stick at. Click here to see the entire list, but a few of the most-anticipated events are undoubtedly the signature Cocktail Carnival at the Hotel Valley Ho and the return of the Southwest’s premier bartending competition, the Last Slinger Standing Event. The Cocktail Carnival is sprawling affair featuring creative cocktails, booths, carnival games, circus performers, aerial pool performance, music, food and countless cocktail tastings, while the Last Slinger Standing features a who’s who list of the top mixologists, with this year’s event pitting Arizona’s best bartenders against the best Nevada has to offer. And new for 2014, the Artisanal Spirit & Cocktail Market is like a Farmer’s Market for cocktail lovers, while the Anti-Party on Sunday, February 17 closes out the week with a late-night bash featuring beer and shots only – no cocktails allowed.

Wash it Down With Your Wristband & Get Home with Uber

img-wristbandAZCW’s popular $10 Wristbands are also returning this year, hooking up patrons who are wearing their wristband at participating bars, lounges, and restaurants with uber deals on either a signature featured AZCW cocktail or a percentage off the bar’s entire cocktail menu. Speaking of uber, new for 2014, AZCW has partnered with UBER, the popular smartphone based on-demand taxi and car service to help get guests home safely. During the week, all wristband holders can apply promo codes for Uber discounts and the chance to win extra Uber credits!
