This member spotlight is on Short Leash Hot Dogs: The hot dog has taken quite an adventurous turn at Short Leash Hot Dogs. Those childhood white bun and boiled hot dogs have been replaced with your choice of a regular, spicy beer hot, beef, bratwurst, chicken or veggie hot dog wrapped in an Indian flat bread called Naan and covered with over 20 unique toppings. A few of our favorite dogs include the Aiko: mango chutney, diced jalapenos, red onions, fresh cilantro and mayo; and the Moki: roasted green chilies, sauteed onions, fresh tomatoes, pinto beans, cheddar cheese and mayo. Plus, don't forget about the AMAZING fried pickles.
Short Leash began as a mobile food truck and while the truck can still be seen around town, this fabulous mobile eatery recently extended its reach with a sit and stay restaurant in downtown Phoenix. Enjoy the endless creative options for your next hot dog feast while pairing it with a local craft beer or indulge in one of Mamma Toledo's pies (we recommend the chocolate eclair). At the Short Leash Sit and Stay, the ambiance is hip, casual, and pet-friendly and a great spot for Sunday brunch complete with chicken and waffles and a corn dog made from sausage. Hot Diggity Dog - we're sure you're going to love this Roosevelt Row gem!
