This Saturday, November 9th, Portland Parkway will transform into the 9th Annual Certified Local Fall Festival! If you've been before, you know this festival is fun for the whole family and features: live music, local food, over 100 vendors, kids activities, beer and wine garden and more! One of the biggest highlights is our Raffle and Silent Auction, which features $1000s in amazing prizes! Now folks, this isn't your typical Raffle with dinky prizes and a broken slinky; we'll be raffling off 20 amazing items every hour to the lucky raffle winners! No need to adjust your eyes, you've read this correctly, we draw 120 winners at the festival! Our Raffle features fantastic finds fit for anyone, including gift cards, art pieces, gift baskets, and more! Remember, the more entries you put in, the more prizes you can win! Tickets will be for sale on site at the Fall Festival. One raffle entry will cost $3, and save and purchase two raffle entries for $5. You can also enter the raffle using tickets that will be sold at the festival (1 entry = 3 tickets, 2 entries = 5 tickets).
When Local First Arizona Director, Kimber Lanning, first started the Certified Local Fall Festival she intended to celebrate "local" and show off Arizona. She had 27 vendors and over one thousand attendees. Today that vision has grown to over 100 vendors and an expected attendee number of ten-thousand! Without our continued support from generous donations by members, we could not have surpassed even the wildest of expectations this festival continues to conquer. We want to give a special thank you to all participating businesses and donors in every capacity!
For the first time, our Silent Auction is online and open early! This means no confusing bidsheets, no line-cutters, no hassle whatsoever! The Silent Auction is now open for bidding and will close at 3:00 PM on November 9th. We will have all items on display at the festival and kiosks available for registration and in-person bids as well!
Bidding has already begun, but there's still time to register and start knocking down that holiday gift list, or buy that special treat you keep promising yourself!
