These fantastic sneakers called Inkkas can be found at Tucson boutique, Arte de la Vida. They are handmade by local artisans in Peru using authentic South American textiles. The company was founded in 2012 and is 'international fair trade guaranteed.' A portion of every sale is donated by Inkkas to help protect the Amazon rainforest and its native inhabitants.

This new business is a folk arts boutique just off The Sunshine Mile, a shopping district in Central Tucson, in a lovely mid-century modern building at 37 N Tucson Blvd. According to the Facebook profile, Arte de la Vida carries "high-end to low-brow vintage Mexican collectibles, vintage Mexican folk art, pottery, textiles, clothes, tourist wares and furniture." This store has a great selection of milagros including wonderful vintage pieces. They also carry lovely Mexican glass wear and wall art.
