Help Those Affected by the Yarnell Hill Fire

Last week, the entire state of Arizona was devastated to hear of the tragedy at the Yarnell Hill fire and the loss of 19 brave fire fighters. Local First Arizona members across the state immediately jumped at the opportunity to offer assistance to those affected by the terrible tragedy. Bashas' Family of Grocery Stores Visit any Bashas', Food City, or AJ's Fine Foods stores to donate to the victims of the Yarnell Hill Fire. Simply visit the register to donate any amount. All proceeds will be donated evenly to the 100 Club of Arizona and the Salvation Army. Click here for more information.

Prescott Brewing Company PBC has volunteered to brew a special commemorative beer next week at our production plant here in Prescott in collaboration with the 40 or so INDEPENDENT craft breweries who are members of the AZ Craft Brewers Guild. It will contain 19 varieties of hops and this beer will have a color of 19 (on our color scale) all being donated by the individual breweries, with all the specialty malts being donated by Briess Malting in Wisconsin. 60 barrels of beer (1860 gallons, over 14,000 Pints) Brewed & kegged in Prescott and distributed to our member breweries all over the state for sale on draft with all the proceeds going to Prescott Firefighters Charities. Hensley Beverage is helping with all the distribution & keg coordination, maybe other distributors as well. "Heroes 19" American Brown Ale should hit the taps around the end of July. Hooray for the Independents in all walks of life. Support your local businesses and heroes! Even if they're in another town! Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association In memory of the 19 firefighters who lost their lives in Northern Arizona, as well as those who have been so severely affected by this tragic fire, the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association is encouraging our members to join us in supporting the Arizona Red Cross and the 100 Club of Arizona.  AzLTA is accepting personal and/or corporate contributions and will match all donations up to $10,000. Arizona's forest lands are an integral part of our tourism product and we are grateful to all of the firefighters who risk their lives in protecting our lands and homes.  Our goal is to send at least a $20,000 check and demonstrate a strong show of support from Arizona's tourism industry. To donate online please visit the homepage of the AzLTA website ( or download and return the Donation Form. If you have any questions please contact our office at (602) 604-0729 or (800) 707-3921.
