World Naked Gardening Day: Saturday May 4th

Article by Jennifer Woods, written for Good Food Finder. Did that say naked? Whatever it takes to bring attention to growing, right?

Gardening in your birthday suits sounds sorta fun and a little crazy, especially if you have nosy neighbors or if your garden is in the front yard.

World Naked Gardening Day started in 2005 by the Body Freedom Collaborative, a collaboration of naturists, otherwise known as nudism.

"Second only to swimming, gardening is at the top of the list of family-friendly activities people are most ready to consider doing nude," according to the WNGD website.

If you've been wanting to participate, this weekend and it's ninth annual celebration, we should have some nice weather to give it a go.

Check out more details on this global event at your own risk.  It's not really safe for work, or in internet speak, NSFW.

However, for the record, we think there are far more dangerous things to look at besides naked folks surrounded by their garden.
