Tucson February Mixer Recap

Our February Mixer had a great turn out including many new faces. Laura Key and the therapists of Lotus Massage & Wellness Center were perfect hosts offering a lovely indoor/outdoor space to mix and mingle. Therapists offered low cost 12-minute massages and Lotus Center raffled off a certificate for a free full-length massage. Attendees munched on amazing fresh vegetables and yummy hummus from the Food Conspiracy Co-op and sipped on a variety of beverages offered by Lotus Center. The City of Tucson's Office of Conservation and Sustainable Development sent representative Andrew Rector to explain the City's free Green Certification Program for Business. The program funding is running out so businesses should sign up now to begin the process. A free audit will be conducted and then recommendations will be made to help the business be more energy efficient and 'green.' Once certified, businesses are listed on the Green Business Directory page. Mr Rector can be reached via phone at 520- 837-6937 or email at [email protected]
